John F Kennedy University
John F. Kennedy University is a private, non-profit university offering a wide range of baccalaureate and graduate degree programs across three academic colleges. The university is located in Pleasant Hill, California, and also maintains satellite campuses in Berkeley and San Jose.JFK University is organized into three colleges: the College of Undergraduate Studies, the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, and the College of Law. Additionally, the university operates an Institute of Entrepreneurial Leadership and a division of Continuing Education.
Students of the College of Undergraduate Studies can pursue bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Business, Health Sciences, Liberal Studies, Criminal Justice Leadership, and Legal Studies (ABA-approved. An Advanced Certificate in Entrepreneurship program and a Paralegal Certificate program(ABA-approved) are also available.
The College of Graduate and Professional Studies offers degree and certification programs, internships, specialization, field studies, and supervised traineeships in such disciplines as Psychology, Health Education, Museum Studies, and Business Administration.
Graduates of JFK University's College of Law are awarded the Juris Doctor. Students can choose either a three-year, full-time law school program, or a four-year, part-time program. The College of Law is accredited by The Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California.
JFK University employs approximately 60 full-time faculty, as well as over 700 adjunct faculty who are working professionals in their field of expertise.
JFK University now offers a large selection of online courses that an be completed via distance learning. However, courses are intended to fulfill licensing requirements. Online degrees are currently unavailable.
