Hartnell College
Hartnell Community College is a community college located in Salinas, California. Hartnell maintains three campuses in total: the main campus (which is located in South Salinas), the King City campus, and the Alisal campus.There are a wide variety of majors available at Hartnell Community College. These include: agriculture, cultural studies, astronomy, music, computer technology, English, welding, business administration, art, theatre arts, math and science, foreign language, early childhood education, justice administration, history, drafting, engineering, auto collision repair, anthropology, sociology, animal health technology, and more. Hartnell's main campus features a number of student service facilities, such as a financial aid office, a library, an admissions and records office, a Disabled Students Services Center, a cafeteria, and a parking structure.
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges has put Hartnell Community College on probation twice in just six years, most recently in 2013.
The the Hartnell College eCampus students are able to earn a degree via online distance learning. Distance education offers a flexible, online alternative to tradition (and restrictive) campus-based learning.
