Five Branches University

Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are offered at this leading university of Chinese Medicine. Five Branches University has more than one location. The northern California location has beautiful, peaceful outdoor surroundings. Students also have access to many practicing Chinese medical practitioners.

The location in San Francisco has a very large Chinese population that practice Chinese medicine. This is a great area for students studying to be Chinese medical practitioners.

Five Branches also has a study abroad program. Students in this program will be allowed to study at an affiliated Chinese university for as little as a semester or as long as a year.

Any students working toward a degree can also choose to earn an additional certification in Tuina Massage, Sports Medicine or Medical Qijong.

Previous medical degrees or training are not required to apply at Five Branches. But, students must either pass an exam or prerequisite courses in certain subjects.
