Keeping up with the needs of a very competitive job market, the College of San Mateo (CSM) has as many as 75 programs of study available. This includes cosmetology, green technologies, fire technology. broadcasting, multimedia, computer and information science and nursing, among many others.The school, which is located in San Mateo, California, is associated with the San Mateo Community College District. The rate at which students transfer to four-year institutions is high, with options at universities both in and out of state. CSM offers transfer guarantees with 7 of the 9 University of California schools, as well as most of the CSU institutions and private colleges.
