California Hair Design Academy
California Hair Design Academy (or CHDA) has been training Cosmetologists for over 25 years at their state-of-the-art campuses. The academy is fully accredited and privately owned and operated. CHDA is committed to offering the most modern salon techniques and practices. They are consistently updating their curricula to make sure students are getting the latest information available.CHDA offers courses in Manicuring, Esthetician, and Cosmetology. Barbering is now offered at the La Mesa campus. Students will receive a quality education with the most state-of-the-art tools, equipment and techniques. Cosmetology courses require 1600 class and hands-on training hours to graduate. Esthetician courses require 600 training hours for graduation. In addition to class time, students will receive real-world training through the school’s public salon. Students perform the services to the public at a discounted rate.
Deciding which school to attend is a big choice. CHDA encourages potential students to visit their campuses to personally see what they have to offer. Two great reasons to choose CHDA are: they are one of the more affordable beauty schools in the county and CHDA continues to have one of the highest student passage rates on the state licensing exam. The school offers employer referrals to students and graduate as a way of helping them to find the right salon to begin their career.
