Baldwin Park Adult & Community Education
Baldwin Park Adult & Community Education Center (BPACE) offers a number of community education, adult education and career certification programs. BPACE runs a café and a salon to give students a hands-on education. Students studying fields in the food service industry will spend time waiting tables, cooking and bussing tables in The Maine Street Café. Those studying cosmetology will spend time working in the onsite salon, styling hair, giving facials and doing nails.BPACE offers Adult Education programs in ESL and in GED preparation. In addition, the school offers an Older Adults program to allow senior citizens to take courses in fitness, fine arts or technology. Partnering with local businesses, BPACE also has internship programs and job-based learning opportunities. Financial assistance is available through grants and student loans to those that qualify.
